A TwiTrip - Drew's smiley face appears on The Guardian website

One day last week, we heard through the twittersphere, that a young man called Benji, who happened to be a journalist was about to embark on a TwiTrip to our very own Oxford.
With only his twitter followers for tour guides, Benji arrived at Oxford stationed to be greeted by Drew's smiley face. Oh, and Mr Banks of Oxford Castle Unlocked.
Not wanting to be handcuffed, we gave him a lift into town, feasted on Game Pie before setting him on his merry way.

Oxon Carts was featured in the Oxford Times today, as part of a six-week look at local businesses in the recession. The article, entitled "Shop windows of Oxford" had the following to say about Oxon Carts, as well as a new ad:

Personalise your rickshaw wedding in Oxford with flowers

For a small extra charge we can attach bouquets of flowers to the sides of the carriages, to give that extra touch to an already beautiful rickshaw. We can arrange for flowers of any colour to suit with the wedding's colour scheme and the price starts as low as £25 per rickshaw for a simple arrangement.

NEWSFLASH! Oxon Carts is featured in the 2009 edition of the 'Lonely Planet Guide to England'!
At the moment, Oxon Carts cannot ply for hire, however, we are ready and waiting to take your bookings - whatever the weather!
The Environment Scrutiny Committee has agreed to recommend to the City Council that they lobby national government for a change in legislation which would allow pedicabs to ply for hire. More immediately, they are also recommending a voluntary code of conduct for rickshaw operators in Oxford which Oxon Carts would sign up to.
We are fully insured and require the highest standards of road safety from our riders, to give you the novelty and light-heartedness of a rickshaw, with the assurances expected from a taxi.
