Taxi Journeys

 Arranged pick-ups and drop-offs - Due to the current licensing situation we can only carry you if you pre-book so if you want to arrive at or leave from a restaurant, hotel or cinema in comfort and style, then ask for Oxon Carts, or contact us by phone or email. The carriages can also be booked by the hour.

Oxon Carts was described as a "green alternative" to taxis by the 2009 Lonely Planet Guide to England.

Approximate sample prices (per pedicab, not per person):

Carfax to Little Clarendon Street - £6

Tescos in Cowley to Carfax - £10

Carfax to South Parade - £12

1 hour's hire of cart and rider - £20

Whilst journeys have to be pre-booked, fares are calculated based on how long the rickshaw will be out of the garage.

Deliveries

We now have long-established regular delivery contracts with Riverford Norton Organic and Oxford University Student Union.

We are helping Riverford to reduce the carbon footprint of their vegetable deliveries in East Oxford...see www.riverfordnorton.co.uk if you are interested in placing an order.

We have become OUSU's principal delivery partner; bringing the Oxford Student Newspaper to all the Oxford colleges as well as meeting assorted other transportation needs of the student union.

Please get in touch if you are interested in us helping you move anything within the City Centre - our delivery boxes are about the size of car roof-boxes, but slightly deeper.
